About Red flowering Gum: Flowering red gum is a truly spectacular Australian native tree. Endemic to the south-west of Western Australia, it has become one of the most widely cultivated ornamental eucalypts globally due to its breathtaking floral display. Growing to 6-15 metres, it has a dense, rounded canopy and rough, dark bark. Its thick, dark green leaves provide a backdrop for the spectacular clusters of flowers which range from bright red to pink, orange, or white. These nectar-rich blooms attract native nectar eating birds like lorikeets, honeyeaters and other pollinators, enhancing local biodiversity. Blooms are followed by distinctive woody gumnuts. Drought-tolerant and thriving in full sun with well-drained soil, it's a popular ornamental tree for gardens and streetscapes.
Disclaimer: These earrings are handmade with care. So, much like real flora, slight variations may exist between pairs. This is a testament to their handcrafted nature and adds to their unique beauty.
