About Golden Wattle: The Golden Wattle is another common plant seen across Australia. Native to South eastern Australia. This tree confidently blooms in Winter were most other plants are going into dormancy, Ensuring that our many pollinators have a food source for our chilly Winters.
The wattle trees have a tendency to grow in the understoreys of open Eucalyptus bush on dry shallow soils. I very often see them along roads and highways in Nsw. While they are beautiful they also have a bit of a reputation as a weed, and as an invasive plant in other countries like South Africa. They also can worsen allergies when in bloom. But despite that it is still a beloved plant across Australia with its stunning blooms, perfect for native bouquets or even dried by itself for a gorgeous single flower arrangement and is an informal emblem for Australia itself.
Disclaimer: This bracelet is handmade with care. So, much like real flora, slight variations may exist between pairs. This is a testament to their handcrafted nature and adds to their unique beauty.
